This dual battery solar charge controller is designed for independent charging of 2x12V or 2x24V batteries/battery banks. The controller utilizes PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology, which enhances charge acceptance and extends the life of your batteries. PWM technology can also recover some lost battery capacity. The initial charging priority can be set, for example, 80% of power to the engine battery and 20% to the leisure battery. When one of the batteries is fully charged, the controller will automatically divert all power to the other battery.

The solar system features 12V/24V auto recognition, with a maximum solar voltage of 30V (12V system) or 55V (24V system). The battery voltage range is 8~15V, and the boost time is 120 minutes. The self-consumption is 4mA at night and 10mA during charging. The controller has an 8-PIN RJ-45 Meterbus connection and temperature compensation of -5mV/°C/2V. The terminals can accommodate 4mm2 wires, and the operating temperature range is -35°C to +55°C.

The rated voltage is 12V, with a minimum suggested voltage of 8.0V. The backlight and LED indicator turn off at less than 17mA, and the operating temperature range is -40°C to +60°C. The communication cable is an RJ45 (8PIN) with a length of 10 meters.

The EPEVER MT-1 Remote Meter with LCD Display is compatible with the 10A/20A Dual Battery Solar Panel Charge Controller. It allows you to monitor the main charging parameters and performance of your solar system, such as voltage, current, and state of charge of your batteries. The battery charge, accumulated capacity, and minimum and maximum voltage can be recorded, which is useful for comparing the system's performance at different periods.

The meter also displays temperature and time. It can be set to cycle through each data parameter every 3 seconds or to display only the chosen set of data. Four buttons on the front panel make it easy to switch between data sets.

The meter comes with a 10-meter connection cable that can be easily plugged into your dual battery solar charge controller. It provides valuable information about your solar system's performance, allowing you to optimize its efficiency and monitor the health of your batteries.
